Spotlights are ideal when good lighting with minimal shadowing is needed. They are perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, and possibly hallways. In living and bedrooms, spotlights can feel quite impersonal. It is better to use wall lamps and floor lamps for accent lighting in these areas.

I won’t comment on having more than two downlights in the shower. With that number, you have to hope everything is planned to be dimmable.
Are the fixtures already decided? Does this mean you advise against having two spots, or are you suggesting installing two spots in the shower? We’re still undecided on that...
We wanted to use the following spots (dimmable via a simple switch)...
But you should also read what we wrote, for example about the spotlights in the kitchen, which are supposed to illuminate the countertop and not the back of the person working.
And then the question ... why are there so many spotlights in the bedroom? What kind of living situation do you imagine there?
