We plan to build next year and have been paying attention to the number of recessed lights at friends’ places.
For example, in the bathroom there are 10 recessed lights, which is also necessary because of the solid partition walls (like in your case).
In the sleeping area/wardrobe, I would roughly halve the number, and personally, I don’t like recessed lights in the bedroom.
Will there be cabinets on the left side of the wardrobe? They would then be illuminated from above...

What is the point of having so many spotlights in the bedroom? It is more important to have proper two-way switches there.
Wardrobe... there is too little closet space.
Kitchen: the distance between the sink and the cooktop is more than 200cm (80 inches), which is very large. The spotlights above the sink beautifully illuminate the bent head of the person working there, but not the countertop workspace.
- Main light controllable from the bed, the hallway door, and the wardrobe door
- Bedside light controllable from the bed, the hallway door, and the wardrobe door... why? In the morning the alarm goes off, the bedside light near the bed turns on, you get up... either head towards the wardrobe or the hallway... and then turn the bedside light off again
