Hello,
I am currently planning the electrical installation in our shell construction.

Now I have reached the bathroom, and we would like to install a mirror with integrated lighting.

So, my questions are:

1. At what height should I install a flush-mounted box? There are installation zones, but I can’t find a specific height for the bathroom.
2. Should I install a socket that is controlled by a switch located to the right of the washbasin, or should I install a cable with connector blocks?

Thank you all.

No; a normal one is round. This one is ship-shaped, with a lid and a cable gland included.

A question about this ship-shaped wall outlet box: Can I also use it for wall lights indoors and outdoors, or is a standard flush-mounted box sufficient for wall lights?
Good luck

Hmm, that’s up to you. Basically, both are the same thing. Only the shape differs, and accordingly, the preparation.
