I wanted to ask everyone which switch systems you have chosen and what your reasoning was behind those decisions.

Ah, my parents have something like that with the Gira S-Colour.

True, that could also be an option. I’ll have to think about it.

Berker B.IQ as push buttons and Gira 55 glossy white for sockets, etc., in the bathroom; then the same in cream

We have Busch-Jaeger Reflex SI installed throughout the entire house for the following reasons:

  • They did not cost extra
  • A timeless classic (available for many years, so it is very likely that replacement parts will still be available in many years to come)
  • Wide range of different switches, sockets, and accessories (e.g., a very nice USB charging station)
  • The switches and sockets have a very simple design, reducing the risk that we will stop liking them anytime soon.

Hello,

I think that’s a good and very convincing choice!
We will go with the slightly more angular version from B&J: Balance SI in white.

Also very nice.

The good thing about these branded switches is that there is such a wide range of different versions available and you can buy them almost anywhere.

We just took a look at the Gira System 55 E2, and it could be a good fit for us. The price also seems reasonable; I’ve gathered some standard prices for boxes, switches, push buttons, and frames.
