we are currently undecided about which heating system to install in our future single-family house.
Does anyone have experience with electric heating regarding the initial investment costs and what are the ongoing expenses?
Thank you very much.

When using a heat pump with an efficiency greater than 4, electrical energy becomes viable. I can also share experience in this regard, but only for water-to-water heat pumps.

We have also considered a heat pump, but our local utility company does not offer a tariff for it. So it is not really worthwhile. There are not many options left then.

Electric heating – only with a heat pump – never otherwise.
Best regards
