Schlauerfuchs27 Oct 2020 12:07Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experience with the Ecotouch ai1 Geo from Waterkotte?
The pump looks sleek and seems to be very efficient. The display is very informative and intuitive, and the control system includes a web browser and supports various industry protocols for smart home integration. What is still unclear so far is the noise level of the pump. The pump will be installed in the utility room next to the living room, as we do not have a boiler.
We are concerned whether the pump is quiet enough.
The manufacturer’s website states 43 dB(A), the label on the housing says 46 dB(A), and the heating engineer mentions 34 dB(A). A Nibe heat pump is advertised at 36 dB(A).
Unfortunately, I can’t judge if 43/46 dB(A) is considered loud.

nordanney27 Oct 2020 12:18We had a similar model in our house, an Eco-Touch 50Schlagmichtot. It felt no louder than the side-by-side refrigerator. Installed in the utility room, the standard door completely blocked all noise (the door led to the hallway, which then had an open door to the living/dining area – during the two years we lived there, the noise was never noticeable in those areas). I found the heat pump excellent, also in terms of performance.

Depending on when you need this information, we will be getting a brine pump of this type. Move-in is planned for mid to late January, then I can report back. Are you not by any chance building at "Am Feldlager"?S
