I received the DWG file with our floor plans from my architect and would now like to import it into a program to create a suitable 3D model. There are several free options available, but so far I haven’t found one that allows me to import the DWG file and then generate the corresponding 3D model.
The software needs to be compatible with a Mac.
Has anyone here dealt with this topic before?

So, I’ve just spent €11 on Sweet Home 3D for now and played around with it a bit. OK, the rendering isn’t great, but it’s probably the easiest way to start. I’ll finish building everything with it first and then see if I need more.
