Hi everyone,
Decorations are nice and all, but my roommate is really overdoing it. I live in a shared apartment with four people, and about six months ago a new girl joined us. Gradually, the decorative items in our shared living room have been increasing more and more.
I admit, the decor was very minimal before, and sticking used beer labels on the wall wasn’t to everyone’s taste. But you can definitely go too far, and now there’s hardly a spot left without some little bottle with a plastic flower or something similar on it. Don’t get me wrong, it does look better than before and she has good taste, but whoever is in charge of cleaning spends ages dusting all those things. It really doesn’t have to be like that – keyword: healthy balance!!
Just had to get that off my chest. Thanks

Well, I know that problem. Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to room design. I can manage with almost any type of room, but there are others who would never be able to live in a room with a red wall. However, regarding dusting, the person who caused the dust should be the one to clean it—that would be fair.
