Hello,

On December 16, the main electrical connection to our house and, at the same time, the telecom connection were installed. The electrical company now needs to report the completion of their work to the telecom provider. On December 23, I inquired when this would happen. Today, I was informed that it will not be done until the end of the month because the responsible colleague is on vacation. Do I have to accept this? Am I forced to wait, or can I speed up the process? I find this quite frustrating, especially since we plan to move in on January 24.

Best regards

Hello,
the cables were installed inside the house around early October, and we finally got internet on December 21st.
So, about 2.5 months.
However, the cables from the telecom distribution box to the property were laid at the end of April. So they had enough lead time.

Best regards,

I contacted the telecommunications provider just a few days ago, and I was told that it can currently take up to 12 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Best regards

I spoke with the telecom company yesterday; the connection was completed a few weeks ago. They said activation by the end of February is "no problem at all."

Will that really work out?

The technician from Vodafone was here yesterday, set everything up, connected it, and it’s working.
The handover point (building connection) was installed in mid-November. So, it took about 2 months for us. However, he said they took their time because our contract only starts on 01.01.17 and we’re moving in at the end of January.
I think they could have done it faster as well...

The registration in the system is carried out according to the information provided by the regional authorities' representative assigned to me. I believe it always depends on the current processing time at that office.

Today, I received a call from the telecom provider informing me that they now have all the necessary documents. They contacted the contractor who carried out the installation to verify the work. The case is now with the regional coordinator, and I will receive a call in the next few days to schedule an on-site connection appointment. So far, things are going surprisingly well... Hope dies last! But yes, you have to be persistent and pick up the phone one more time.
