Six years ago, I thought the technician from the telecom company installed two DSL sockets. Now I wanted to relocate the Fritz!Box and wondered why there was no internet connection.
I even thought I had broken the internet.
I opened the cover and found that nothing was connected. Can I do something like this myself? Or do I need a technician? Who should I contact?

This is a TEA socket.
You should have an NTBA and a splitter from the telecom provider.
The line goes from this to a TAE socket like yours.
You can connect it yourself; you only need a small flathead screwdriver.
Instructions are available online. What is an NTBA and splitter...? Is that the thing I took a photo of?

If I understand you correctly, you actually have no idea. (Please don’t take offense.) Then just use an electrician you trust.

I have DSL in the house, but only in one room.
So I just need to plug the little cables into that outlet box?
No electrician will come to our place just for a socket.
Called around on Saturday.
