We are currently planning a privacy fence along our property boundary.
For the posts, we want to have 15x15 cm (6x6 inch) granite posts installed by a landscaper.
We plan to install the privacy panels ourselves.
I’m a bit confused. On the internet, there are conflicting recommendations on how to drill into granite. Of course, you need the right drill bit for it, that’s clear. But on one hand, some say you need a rotary hammer with enough impact force to drill into granite. On the other hand, others say you should definitely not use the hammer function. So, which is it?
Does anyone here have advice?
Good luck
Chris
