ᐅ Drilling a Hole Through an Exterior Wall (Air Conditioning) in Timber Frame Construction

Hello everyone, I need to drill a hole through my exterior wall (for an air conditioner). The house is timber frame construction. I assume that drilling a hole like this involves challenges related to the vapor barrier and so on, right? How would you approach this? Thanks for your tips. Ashley
