Good evening everyone,
do you know any good options for designing a walk-in closet in an attic with sloped ceilings? Preferably cost-effective? My first idea was to use IKEA Kallax shelves.

We use the Ivar series. You can trim them to fit the top.
For our wardrobe, which is 130cm (51 inches) wide, the Malm dressers fit lengthwise. We drilled clothes rods under the Ivar shelves. This way, you can adjust the shelf heights quite flexibly. We painted all of them white first.

A small tip from a former attic walk-in closet owner:
Don’t forget doors on the cabinets or make sure the roof windows have UV protection. Otherwise, you’ll quickly get very noticeable faded lines on your folded shirts and sweaters. ^^

We had many clothes left out in the open (which looked great ^^), and the sunlight caused excessive fading in exposed areas. This showed up as horizontal lines on folded shirts, lighter sleeves on many shirts, and as light vertical streaks on many pant legs.
