Hello,
I’m asking on behalf of a friend! He wants to pump out his pool into the sewer using a submersible pump and a hose. What experiences do you have with using a slightly thicker hose to reach the sewer without leaving the property? For your information: all the rain gutters drain into soakaway pits, so they lie relatively flat.
My friend thanks you in advance!

Draining into the garden is not an option because the submersible pump moves too much water too quickly; all other methods take too long. The original question actually relates to what solutions you have found or thought of to get the hose from private property into the sewer. The toilet is ruled out due to splashing, as is the sink. Ideally, there would be a small airtight manhole cover that is only opened when water is being pumped out.
On your own property, you do have an inspection chamber for the sewer, right? It makes sense to use it, doesn’t it? What exactly are you aiming for? Usually, there is a pipeline running from the public area to the inspection chamber on private property, and from there into the house. What other options do you want to hear about? Don’t have an inspection chamber? Then you’ll have to dig one *shrug*

I know someone who did exactly that last year with 9m3 of water and plans to do it again this fall. Of course, you can't drain all the water at once, and you need to try to distribute it evenly, but basically there’s no objection to it (except if it’s prohibited).guckuck2 schrieb:

Usually, there is a pipeline running from the public area to the maintenance shaft on private property, and from there further into the house. What other options are you looking for? Don’t you have a maintenance shaft? Then you’d have to dig one up *shrug*There is already a maintenance shaft, but it’s on the other side of the house. That’s why the idea was to lay a pipe in the garden, which on one end connects to the sewer and on the other end has a “manhole cover” near the pool.FloHB123 schrieb:

Of course, you can’t drain everything at once and need to try to distribute the water well, but basically there’s no reason against it (unless it’s prohibited). I understand that it basically works. But it depends on the size of the garden. Also, you a) don’t want to keep moving the hose around all the time and b) don’t want flooding in the garden. That’s why it’s rarely done.
