Hello dear forum,
I have a possibly unusual question, but sometimes someone knows the answer :-)
In my apartment, I have two dormer windows made of zinc. Do they need to be grounded during installation?
I am asking this in the context of potential lightning attraction during thunderstorms.
I look forward to any helpful advice,
Thank you Joel

If it were, the metal dormer would have to meet specific material requirements and be connected to the grounding system. The question is whether you live in a building where an external lightning protection system is mandatory.
