ᐅ Video doorbell system

Good morning,

I have a question for those of you who are more technically experienced. Back in 2014/15, our electrician installed a data cable and a power cable from the house to the gate (about 15m (50 feet)). The power cable was intended for a potential future electric gate, and the data cable was for a doorbell with a camera. The data cable ends in a flush-mounted box at the front door. It is not connected to the house network’s patch panel.

My electrician has not been available since last year, and I have no idea what kind of doorbell system with a camera I can install there.

Maybe you have some ideas? ;-)

There are a thousand possibilities... it all depends on your budget...

It should stay within reasonable limits, otherwise the boss lady will get on my case ;-)

There is no simple answer... these systems are usually modular, so the more options you want, the more you pay.

Take a look at Ritto, Siedle, Gira, Busch-Jäger...
