Hello everyone,
for the past 2 years, we’ve had a €20 (about $22) wireless doorbell that only works around 30% of the time 🙂
Now it’s time to get something proper...

Here’s the situation:
- POE router available
- LAN cable running to the gate
- LAN cable coming out of the wall on the ground floor
- LAN cable coming out of the wall on the upper floor
- Gate with an electronic latch (2 wires)

My requirements:
I would like to have a doorbell with a good camera at the gate and monitors on both the upper and ground floors, so I can talk to visitors and open the gate for them via the monitor.

It would be great if the system could also record who rang the bell and when, with video.
Additionally, I’m interested in whether I can control my POE security cameras from the monitors as well.
Any extra features are welcome but not essential.

What would you recommend?
In terms of price, I’m hoping to stay somewhere between €1,000 and €2,000 (about $1,100 to $2,200).

I appreciate any tips!

Just try searching for Doorbird, Akuvox, 2N, Goliath, and so on.
