I want to integrate a doorbell/intercom system with my FritzBox.

I would like the FritzFon c4 to ring with a different ringtone when the doorbell rings (I do not need video). Is it also possible to open the door using the c4?

Can someone recommend a doorbell/intercom system with a good price/performance ratio? Is my plan feasible?

Thank you

ysty 4x2x0.8, if it might possibly become IP rated later, add a CAT7 cable as well.

Is there a module that allows me to control something like this? If so, which one? Or do you need three separate modules for that?

You can have multiple doorbell buttons operate separately on one module. The TFS universal plus has only one connection line, so you will need one module per Fritzbox.

Just a quick tip – if you’re considering an Auerswald TFS, you might also want to check out Wantec.

The 4051 isn’t much more expensive but looks much better than the Auerswald.

This was about the Auerswald TFS universal plus module. It is only the indoor unit "behind" the doorbell button and therefore invisible. The other Auerswald TFS models are indeed not very attractive.

Thank you for your reply, HerrScheich.
That helps me a lot already. As for the appearance, that’s not a problem. The entire equipment is to be installed in a flush-mounted box.

Anyone like user "Payday" who only has a doorbell button and chime can simply try googling "KlingelPaul."

In addition to the above, there is now the TeleBell, which can be connected to a doorbell button or electronic chime, and allows control of the door opener via the phone, with a visual indicator for the doorbell signal.
