I want to integrate a doorbell/intercom system with my FritzBox.
I would like the FritzFon c4 to ring with a different ringtone when the doorbell rings (I do not need video). Is it also possible to open the door using the c4?
Can someone recommend a doorbell/intercom system with a good price/performance ratio? Is my plan feasible?
Thank you

It definitely works with an analog door intercom (Google "tfe Fritz 7490" for many good results, including from AVM, which I’m unfortunately not allowed to link to directly) – just stay away from Rocom, otherwise you might have to pay for a replacement in case of a warranty claim.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any device recommendations, but I’m interested as well!

Hello!
Two weeks ago, we implemented exactly this, including opening the door (gate).
It is very convenient to set up with the Fritzbox 7490. For example, you can change the ringtone.
An Auerswald TFS universal plus was used as the door intercom. It can also be "expandable" using a/b switching modules, for example, to activate the carport lighting from the doorbell module, etc.

Yes, we installed a mailbox/bell module from Renz into stone elements from Rinn – it fit perfectly with the Rinn stone elements. Behind the push buttons is the Auerswald TFS. The whole setup was connected using a standard 5-pair installation cable in a conduit, running to the utility room and connected to FON 2 on the Fritzbox 7490.
The Auerswald system can be configured very easily using the Fritzfon C4. The setup instructions from Auerswald are excellent and it worked perfectly on the first try. Everything else (setting up the extension, etc.) is done via the Fritzbox web interface.
The electric door opener is then activated on the Fritzfon by pressing #9, and the visitor is let in immediately.
Once the courtyard gate is installed, I will share some pictures of the result.
