I am currently looking for interior doors that fit lockable door knobs. You can see an example on Amazon by searching for "sourcingmap® handle keyed lockable home office round SPIND locked door knob lock set." There are also ones without a built-in lock.

They only require one hole in the door. Is it possible to buy such a door (not from a carpenter)? So far, I have only seen doors with two holes here in Germany.

Thank you very much!

Any door manufacturer should be able to supply these. Just ask. Why not a joinery workshop? They can definitely do that.

Aren't carpenters expensive? At Bauhaus, we were quite disappointed with the prices for custom-made items – a standard door costs around 150, but for a sliding door made to the same model, the price goes up to 500-600 :-/ In England, however, a carpenter is usually the most expensive option.

Are you looking for a sliding door or a standard interior door? The quality determines the price. It definitely makes sense to get quotes.
