Two door fittings in the basement are going to be replaced, each with a lever handle lock with a warded key and a euro profile cylinder lock.

- The current lever handle lock with warded key has a "key guide" in the keyhole, but the lever handle lock with warded key under consideration does not have a "key guide"—could this cause any issues?
- Is it generally possible to replace the current lever handle lock with warded key with a euro profile cylinder lock without problems? Is there anything I should be aware of?

However, if you want to use a profile cylinder, you need to replace not only the fitting but also the lock.

So I’m not looking for an escutcheon with a cutout then...
The profile cylinder lock I still need to get should fit smoothly... – that would solve my problem 😉
