Hello,
I can't find any information about a "heating room" housing a heat pump with a photovoltaic storage system.
Is a fire-rated door required (Hessen) or recommended in this case?
The utility room is located in the basement,

Thanks!

What a boiler room is, is defined. You can look it up. You do not have a boiler room.

Hello,
Our new build is located in Hessen. We have exactly the same door in front of the technical room (in the basement) as for all the other doors in the house.

Well, the incidents with the Senec batteries catching fire really make you think, I can understand that.
Just install a fire-rated door in front of it. It costs more, but if it helps you sleep better at night, it’s worth it.
Or simply install a safer battery storage system right away (LiFePO).
