HuangTaitai13 Jan 2017 10:57Hello everyone, we bought a 2.50m (8 ft 2.5 in) Pax wardrobe with two 1m (3 ft 3 in) cabinets and one 0.5m (1 ft 8 in) cabinet. At home, we realized that the space between the bed and the wardrobe is quite tight for hinged doors, so we want sliding doors instead. Unfortunately, Ikea currently no longer sells sliding doors in the 2.50m (8 ft 2.5 in) width.
I have found a suitable pair of used sliding doors (the ones with the cherry blossom pattern), but I am not sure
1) if old sliding doors can even fit new cabinets
2) if the cabinet layout of 1m-1m-0.5m (the corresponding description lists 0.75-0.5-0.5-0.75) will work
3) if the ceiling height of about 2.42m (7 ft 11 in) is sufficient
Maybe someone can help me out, that would be great!
Best regards!

1) Yes.
2) Check the manual to see where the bottom rail has cutouts for the side panels of the carcasses.
3) The doors are each 1.25 cm (0.5 inches) wide. If the layout differs from the 75 cm (30 inches) carcasses, there will always be one element that is not fully accessible.
