ᐅ Is the real estate market increasingly forcing families to build their own homes?

Actually, we would prefer to avoid building. Unfortunately, existing properties within a 20 km (12 miles) radius have become quite expensive, and affordable rental houses with small gardens are simply scarce.
Until now, we have been living in an old rental apartment without a garden. We would like to change that, but there is a lack of options. The listings on various platforms are overcrowded with families looking for affordable housing.
Who is familiar with this situation, and how do you deal with it?

What exactly was claimed? Whether it is wrong or right, I will judge for myself.Just watch the mentioned video, or don’t if you prefer. If some left-leaning environmental activists believe that CO2 is harmful to trees, that producing an electric car battery is so much more environmentally friendly, or that the economic prosperity of an industrialized country and supplying 82 million people can also be climate-neutral, then I am more than happy to stand with those who are accused of spreading only falsehoods or challenging 150 years of physics.

she cannot communicate her demands and foresight with people who, for example, work in lignite mining at RWE. As if that were originally her task. She is a figurehead, a face. If the movement is serious, someone else can do that.
I still see the discrediting of all other participants by referring to the pioneer’s illness as dishonest.
Are you trying to say that the entire movement is pointless because Thunberg cannot differentiate? Or would the cause be better served if demonstrations took place on Saturdays? For your standards, you are surprisingly vague and only point fingers.

When gasoline is distilled, diesel and heavy oils are automatically produced as byproducts. If these cannot be used, then what should be done with them? Ships use heavy fuel oil.
Conclusion: Think carefully before imposing strict regulations. There is no life with a perfectly clean slate. K.Heavy fuel oil can be further refined, desulfurized (hydrodesulfurization), and so on. However, nobody does this because burning it at sea is cheaper. Even filters would help, but why spend money on that? Only government intervention could bring improvement here. Correction: enforce it.

You cannot deny anyone basic social security if Article 1 of the Basic Law is to apply... Thank you for the reminder about the inviolability of human dignity. That provides guidance.
@Nordlys and the other "Asperger" debaters here:
Autistic people generally have exceptional abilities. It shows a high level of ignorance to question their statements in a discrediting and discriminatory way based on a diagnosis. The opposite approach is more productive: listen carefully, show appreciation, and seek to understand.
It is good that the world listens to Ms. Thunberg and gives her a voice. It is positive that students are beginning to engage again. Are some of them enjoying the event aspect and the truancy? Certainly. That is also fine, because every movement needs followers to gain momentum – whether for good or bad.
Regarding the initial question:
No family is "forced" into building a house by the real estate market. The feeling of being "forced" arises from a discrepancy between market conditions, income levels, and personal expectations.

If some left-green protesters think that CO2 is harmful to trees, that the production of electric car batteries is so much more environmentally friendly, or that the economic prosperity of an industrialized country and the supply of 82 million people can also be climate neutral That is indeed all nonsense. However, at any gathering of enough people, I can conduct individual interviews where nonsense is spoken. In the end, I just edit the collected nonsense together, and tadaa…
What I meant was something else:
There are parts of the AfD that misuse temperature data by using unscientific methods to "offset" the warming of the last century, only to then claim: It doesn’t exist! (Fake news approach).
Then there is a very small group that even denies the physical principle of the greenhouse effect itself (known for 150 years) as nonsense.
And they use that to gain votes in a not-so-small segment where people consider climate change to be an invented tool of control.
This, however, obviously has nothing to do with the video.
