Hello,
We are currently looking into the topic of range hoods.
I am quite tall (1.85m / 6 ft 1 in), and when cooking, I am often bothered by the standard wall-mounted hoods because they are usually installed at a height of 1.80m (5 ft 11 in) or lower.
Now we are considering an angled range hood, but I have heard some negative feedback that the front panels are not adequately ventilated.
Do you have any experience with these? Maybe they have improved?
Thank you very much for your opinions!

Surface induction is available with the Basic, Professional, Classic, as well as the new Professional and Classic 2.0.
Edit: okay, I missed the word "full." However, that makes it difficult with a downdraft extractor. Therefore Falmec Marilyn. But it does not match the request.H

@hampshire, if anything, the Sintesi, Marilyn is the hood. That's right, Marilyn is the hood. The cooktop is the Siemens EH801KU12E and is sufficiently deep, although the external dimensions are only 79 x 51cm (31 x 20 inches). If the original poster hasn't considered downdraft vents yet – I know from Bora that it works well.
Go to a cooking demo in a studio and check out the hood in action...

I think suction downwards is physically nonsense, but okay...Now, now. Poor physics 😉Actually, it works. The aerosols to be extracted are so light that they follow any air current in any direction. Upwards, downwards, sideways, it doesn’t matter.
Cross-currents cause problems, which is why you should not open the window while the extractor is running.

Now we are considering a slanted extractor hood, but I have already heard some negative feedback that the front panels are not adequately ventilated. Buy a proper hood and everything will be fine. I am currently using a Siemens iQ500 LC98KLP60 and am very satisfied. The only drawback: with a lot of steam, condensation forms on the hood and drips down.
