Hello,
I found these cables under a cover. One is slightly thicker than the other. They look like low voltage cables.

Maybe the control panel for the alarm system is supposed to go here, as it seems prepared for that?
The letters “SP” were marked in the plaster.

Does anyone have any idea about this?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

And: If I don’t need this, what is the best way to close it up if I want to paint the wall directly?

Wall opening: two gray cables protruding from the hole in the wall; construction work.

Plaster cover and then skim over it.

SP ... no idea. The left side is blurry, the right looks like some kind of control cable?

One appears to be four-core, and the other seems to have 10-12 cores. These could be cables for various purposes, such as heating control, alarm system, etc.

If there is "Sp," it probably stands for an intercom system.

It depends on where the other end of the cable terminates and what it is intended for or designed to be used with.
