Hello everyone,
we are currently looking into ventilation systems and came across the company Getair. Does anyone know this company?
We are building a Poroton house with 125 sqm (1350 sq ft).
Thank you in advance for your advice.
Best regards, Roni

but not in a new build, rather in an existing building (where moisture is not an issue).Really? Are the laws of physics different in an existing building?
Hello mycraft. The laws of physics are the same everywhere, at least in the places we reach today. However, the behavior of materials, such as liquids and gases, depends on the specific environment.
Yes, there are houses that regulate moisture very well. Often, these are older houses like ours. We still want to ensure good air exchange without having to keep the windows open. That’s why we want to install decentralized ventilation units. However, we are concerned that the air might become too dry. Do you have any experience in this area?

Hello Umbau17,
hmm… you would need to ask someone knowledgeable about relative humidity. But as a layperson, I would think it’s not a problem.
These devices remove excess moisture from the air. They bring in air with lower humidity from outside.
So, I don’t see any issue, and we haven’t noticed anything negative after one year. As for the air quality inside, it’s really impressive.
Best regards
P.S. With an air conditioning system in the house, I do think it gets too dry because it actually removes moisture from the air.

Hello,
a quick follow-up. I wanted to show how important it is to clean the pollen filter regularly. In the attached pictures, you can see the interior side of the filter before and after cleaning. After almost a year, quite a lot of dust had accumulated.
Important: DO NOT rinse with water, ONLY use a vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, the surface will lose its effectiveness.
Regards
Balaturi
