The plan is to run Domovea on it. I’m still undecided whether to use Android or Windows, but generally, I have a question: does anyone have a touch panel from them and can share their experience? The price/performance ratio seems quite good. Feel free to share your recommendations as well.
Thank you in advance for your answers and experiences.
Best regards

Yes. Good stuff! I know the owner personally. The whole company offers very interesting products.
Hi, since the Hager panels are out of the question for me due to the high price, I’m facing the same problem... because I need four of them, it’s quite an expensive decision. These PTP panels aren’t exactly cheap either, I’d say. To be honest, I was now thinking about simple iPads (Apple, since I’m familiar with those). These would be installed with flush-mounted USB outlets and a wall mount on the wall.
What speaks against this?

It’s annoying to use. Unlock, open the app, connect the app. Sometimes an update interrupts as well. It doesn’t sound like much, but it can become extremely tiring.
Mh, okay, I can understand that. But I wanted to use the devices explicitly “only” for the domovea system, meaning without a lock and with the app always “on,” so to speak. That should simplify things, right? The “high” prices for the Hager tablets were clearly explained to me by the representative: these are proper industrial computers designed with components built for continuous operation. Additionally, there is spare part availability for the coming years. This might not be the case with regular tablets and similar devices. Best regards, b
