Inspired by other "picture threads," I think it would be great if you could share photos of your wood-burning stoves, preferably with comments or notes, as we are still looking for ideas.

I really like the stoves by Focus, but they exceed our budget.

I also like stoves that allow you to see the fire from three sides.

Sorry for jumping briefly into the nice fireplace thread: @ivenh0 I really like the dining table with the natural wood top. Where did you get it or what is it called? Or did you build it yourselves?
If you don’t care too much about the exact legs, or don’t regularly have intercourse on the tabletop, you can find tables like that (brushed and oiled oak live edge) everywhere. Ours is 200cm by 100cm (79 inches by 39 inches) and was on offer at XXXLutz for 299 with a U-shaped base. Right now Lutz has one without a live edge with a Czech nail-type base for 299€.

Acacia in 160cm by 90cm (63 inches by 35 inches) with a similar look is 199€, at Lutz or Mömax.

These are all promotional prices, so you have to keep an eye out. Our table is regularly estimated by visitors to be worth over 1000€.

I agree with that, we have one from the Danish bed store for 599, with the same look but with A-shaped legs. You just have to keep an eye out, type New York. The armchairs that go with it are comfortable even for long sitting sessions.

If that’s what brings joy to the furniture – great. Those who appreciate craftsmanship, materials, feel, finish, and have an eye for proportions and design will gladly buy a table where at first glance you can’t tell the difference from a much less expensive model.
Or an oven, for that matter.
Our oven looks like this (not quite finished yet in the photo):
Living room with white fireplace, burning fire; above it an abstract painting, green tiles on the right.

By saying that, you imply that everyone who buys more affordably doesn’t care about quality, materials, feel, and so on. I find that presumptuous and arrogant, sorry.

But that fits perfectly with people who spend as much on a dining table as on a used compact car ^^

If that came across that way, it does not reflect my attitude at all.
The thread partly discussed a table, which was claimed to be available much cheaper. Judging that from a photo is bold. Sometimes buyers fall in love with product features that are not immediately obvious and come with a higher price. I listed these features. This list does not exclude anyone.
I never even considered the reverse implication that someone who bought a particularly inexpensive piece of furniture has not considered these product features.
