ᐅ Registering a photovoltaic system – Should you pay for it yourself?

Hello everyone,
We are currently building a house through a developer, and the price includes a photovoltaic system without storage. Through an additional offer from the company installing the photovoltaic system, I arranged to have a battery storage installed. This additional offer includes the registration of the photovoltaic system. I am now expected to pay the registration fee of 400 euros (about 400 euros) myself. There is no mention of this in the contract. The construction description only states that we will receive a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 10 kWp.
My question:
Surely it is not correct that I now have to pay for the registration myself, is it?
Is the registration process so elaborate that it costs 400 euros (about 400 euros)? The actual registration itself is free. But could it be so complex that it costs 400 euros (about 400 euros)?
I urgently ask for advice.
Best regards!

The entire self-performed work depends on that. But that is precisely the service from the solar system installer, which in my opinion the general contractor (GC) also owes. The rest can definitely be done online by yourself. It is just hard to understand that the photovoltaic system is included in the GC’s service package at the offered price with no additional registration fee. Now the system, which already includes the registration fees with the GC, is being expanded with a battery storage. So why are connection or registration fees being charged again? The battery storage is merely an extension of the system, which already has to be registered anyway.
Best regards, Timo

You only have to register once the system is connected. Please check the contract: the contractor would not offer the storage system without reason. But who knows.

You only need to register once the system is connected. Please check the contract: the contractor for the storage unit wouldn’t offer that without reason. But who knows. Then I could also say that I only want the storage unit added and the system doesn’t have to be connected to the grid.
Maybe I don’t understand it correctly, but it doesn’t make sense to me that a fee for an additional system component is charged that should actually already be included with the main system.
Best regards, Timo

A drainage application also has to be submitted separately, you have to apply for a telephone connection as well, and so on.
And as a non-original poster, you don’t know the contents of the contract.
