Hello! My architect (very old and always stressed) says that I need a lifting station. However, my sewer connections are 2.5m (8 feet) below the foundation slab. What should I do?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
Let's be honest... are you the expert or your architect?
The correct answer would have been (if it’s a new development area):
“When the infrastructure work is completed and the levels are confirmed, then you will need a sewage lifting station.”
Your architect has no interest in pushing a lifting station on you. On the contrary – the planning becomes more complex. So relax and let the professionals do their job. It’s good to have oversight, but the question of whether and why a lifting station is necessary is not something you should ask us; you should ask your architect.
