Good morning,

I am currently planning the shower enclosures for my two bathrooms. The bathroom in the attic has a ceiling height of 210cm (83 inches). I want to install a corner shower enclosure with a walk-in, floor-to-ceiling design.

What distance from the ceiling would you recommend? Can I install a shower enclosure that is 200cm (79 inches) tall, or would this cause issues with air circulation, meaning I should choose a lower height?

I look forward to hearing about your experiences! Thank you.

The front edge of a toilet should be at least 2 meters (6 feet 7 inches) high. Maybe the roof window could help here?
I have moved the toilet exactly up to that point. It can be shifted a little further to the left as well. The roof window doesn’t help here; it is too far away.

It should definitely be possible if you really want, even with a bathtub.

Floor plan of a building: upper level with stairs, door, and round tank; below, roof pitch.

Thank you all for the feedback! I will try to address the toilet issue as well. The shower enclosure definitely should not be 200cm (79 inches) high, but instead "only" 180cm (71 inches) or would 190cm (75 inches) also be acceptable?

I believe that 2m (6.6 ft) is sufficient as well, because, as I said, you can leave the door open afterward to dry. During the shower, I would say no ventilation is needed.
