we are currently unsure about the maximum spacing allowed for screws on drywall panels.
Is there a standard for this, or can you place screws according to your own judgment?
Of course, the panels should be securely fixed, but the fewer screws used, the less filling work is needed 🙂

Richard-117 May 2014 08:21It also depends on whether it is a wall or if the gypsum boards are to be fixed to the ceiling. For the ceiling, I choose a spacing of 15 cm (6 inches), and for the wall about 25 cm (10 inches), and this has worked well so far. You have to do some filling anyway.
