Hello forum community

I currently have a 10L (2.6 US gallons) under-sink small storage tank (non-pressurized) in my kitchen-living area and I’m not satisfied with the water pressure (or flow rate). Unfortunately, I’m not an expert on this and I have little knowledge about the options available to achieve a reasonable flow rate. I have already read quite a bit about this, including pressurized small storage tanks as well as pressurized small instantaneous water heaters.

What I would like to achieve is a flow rate as close as possible to what I have in the bathroom (approximately a 24kW gas boiler with an additional storage tank). Is this possible? If so, which system would generally be suitable and would you recommend? (Storage tank / instantaneous heater)? I need a device with a maximum rated current of 16A (circuit breaker) that can replace a 10L under-sink storage tank. Hot water is used relatively rarely and only in small amounts.

Can you recommend a device or brand? And what costs should I roughly expect? (I am aware that I will need new fittings, although I have also read that non-pressurized fittings can be connected to a pressurized system if there is only one outlet).

I look forward to your answers

Regards, Joe

Forget all those mini tankless water heaters. They all have one thing in common: with the available 16A, they don’t even provide a trickle of water sufficient for hand washing... You won’t get more flow than from a storage tank either.

The 5-liter (1.3 gallons) models I know all have enough flow for a standard kitchen faucet. Maybe your storage tank or the piping is clogged. That could of course be possible...
