Phew! That’s probably going to be a bit messy... but of course, it’s definitely possible. You need to chip away or remove the loose tiles. For this, use a suitable scraper and hammer. Alternatively, you can rent a machine from the tile installer.

Renovating Tiles

To be honest, renovating old tiles is a huge mess and a tough job! I would only do it for very special tiles, or natural stone. Nowadays, there are already very affordable options for tiles.
Also, I don’t think the problem with the tiles not holding properly was due to the installation. I could imagine that the underfloor heating was turned up too quickly again, or that the screed simply didn’t have enough time to dry properly. This causes stress in the floor.
