Hello,
after some minor issues (for example, the drawer doesn’t fit under the oven, so I paid for it unnecessarily and had to remove a cover panel…) my kitchen is finally installed. I just had the dishwasher connected and wanted to run it, but the upper rack won’t pull out. Is there a safety catch or lock that needs to be released first? I couldn’t find anything in the manual.
The upper spray arm hanging under the rack is connected firmly at the back to the water pipe that leads down to the arm. Normally, the spray arm should sit under the rack, and only the end should go into the wall opening to allow the rack to slide in and out.
Can anyone help me? I’d like to wash dishes soon…

dankon7goo29 Nov 2013 14:58The Rengöra is registered by Electrolux under the product number: PNC No. 911 535 035. I contacted their hotline and was told:
I find this surprising, as the upper rack seems to be firmly stuck? But I am not home yet and will try this tonight.
Regards, DK
After consulting with our technician, there is no transport lock on the upper rack of your dishwasher Rengöra with PNC No. 911 535 035.
You should be able to pull out the upper rack with a strong tug.

IKEA-Experte29 Nov 2013 16:29I’m curious to see. I suspect a seal that has become slightly stuck due to storage time.

dankon7goo30 Nov 2013 07:16Okay, the Electrolux people were right... in the end, it could be pulled out with a jerk – but we had run three to four wash cycles with only the lower basket loaded beforehand.
@IKEA-Expert: that does sound quite plausible, it was somehow really stuck, and by now the kitchen series to which our Rengöra belonged has been discontinued – who knows how long the part was stored somewhere with heating air 🙂
