I am buying a new IKEA kitchen (METOD with Bodbyn fronts). I don’t like the built-in appliances from IKEA, so all appliances will be purchased from other manufacturers. The oven and cooktop shouldn’t be a problem. The main challenges are the range hood (which needs to be installed in an 80cm (31.5 inches) wide cabinet) and the dishwasher.

Since I’m buying everything new: What should I pay attention to in order to fit both appliances? (Especially the attachment of the front panel to the dishwasher is reportedly problematic.) Have you had good experiences with specific appliances that you would recommend?

Dishwasher Bosch / Siemens / Neff XXL with Vario hinge.
Extractor hood is challenging because 900mm (35 inches) is the standard size. A good option would be Berbel Firstline Touch BEH 80 FLT.

Hello,
Regarding the topic of extractor fans:
Look for "ventilation modules." These are universally applicable/installable and come in various widths.
An example would be the units from Siemens. In this case, the bottom of the wall cabinet is cut out to the dimensions of the ventilation module, and the unit is installed similarly to a cooktop on the countertop inside the wall cabinet.

The exhaust hood should extend across the entire width of the cooktop. This becomes challenging with the fan module, which, according to the dimensional drawings, requires a cutout depth of 35 cm (14 inches). The remaining space would be too narrow to securely support the unit.
