ᐅ Dirt (handprint) on exterior plaster/render

Hello,

today I noticed a handprint on my white exterior plaster—I suspect it might have been the landscaping contractors. Can I simply clean the dirty spot with water, or do I need to use a special cleaner?

How about starting with lukewarm water – possibly with a little dish soap?

It depends on what kind of dirt it is... if the landscaper with concrete hands was involved, that’s quite different from just dealing with soil...

I always find questions like this amusing...

Unfortunately, we can’t see what kind of imprint you have from here... but as the building expert said... water sometimes works wonders...
