Hello
Last week, our foundation slab was poured, and today I took some measurements.
The house is 10 x 9 m (33 x 30 ft). One side measures the full 9 m (30 ft), but the opposite side is 8.977 m (29 ft 5.5 in), so it is 2.3 cm (0.9 inches) shorter. Is this still within an acceptable tolerance?
Looking forward to your advice.

The site plan shows 10x9 m (33x30 ft).The site plan does not count! What matters is the construction plan and, once again, there are tolerances: these are greater than 1%.

(Non-surface-finished tops of ceilings, underlayment, and concrete floors) does this also refer to the foundation slab here? The top surface means that the upper side of the surface is meant. So, the vertical height, not flatness or right angles in the floor plan. Non-surface-finished means that the foundation slab at the top side, in terms of the "top edge of the unfinished floor," is not yet covered with screed to level out unevenness. In this condition, unevenness of up to 25 mm (1 inch) over a 10 m (33 ft) measuring point spacing is allowed. Note, this refers to height differences.

I have the shell construction drawings here; is that what execution plans refer to? Otherwise, I have nothing.Formwork plans are derived from the execution plans of the floor plans. Execution drawings are usually at a scale of 1:50 (for details sometimes larger) and already specify details such as the exact location of light switches, where ceiling panels rest, the required fire resistance rating for certain doors, and so on.
Foundation slabs are never positioned with millimeter precision under houses; masons are not watchmakers.

toxicmolotof18 Feb 2017 22:17If the house is supposed to be 9×10m (29.5×32.8 ft) in the end, the foundation slab should hopefully be smaller. Or where will the insulation go?

So the house according to the drawing is 10x9m (33x30 feet). Without exterior plaster. The slab is also supposed to be 10x9m (33x30 feet). Only one side is 2.4cm (1 inch) shorter. Is this still within tolerance?See ##2 below
