Hello,
I am currently having a bathroom renovated. The tiles were installed today. I am now uncertain because, in my opinion, this is not done correctly.
It was agreed that the tiles above the bathtub would be centered, with a continuous grout line that continues along the bathtub.
I have marked the measurements on the attached photo.
Firstly, it bothers me that the tiles above the tub are not the same length on the right and left sides (left 85cm (33.5 inches), right 83.5cm (32.9 inches)).
It should be possible to cut the tiles to almost the same length, right?
Secondly, it bothers me that there will be a grout offset of about 1cm (0.4 inches) at the bathtub.
There is only one grout line there. If it is not aligned, I find that disturbing.
However, I am not sure if this is still acceptable and would appreciate some opinions.
Best regards
