ᐅ Differences Between Viessmann Heating Element and Generic Brands?

Hello,

I was planning to buy a Viessmann electric heating element with 12 kW, but then I noticed that other suppliers offer very similar-looking heating elements without the Viessmann brand, costing less than half the price.

Does anyone have experience with these? After all, it’s basically just a plastic casing with a resistor and a shielded heating coil/wire through which electricity flows, right?

I’m leaning towards buying the cheaper one.
