Hello,
We have read the meters for 2015. There are 2 residential units, and we handle our own utility cost accounting. There is a municipal water meter located in the utility room. In each of the two apartments, we installed separate meters (hot/cold) from Deltamess. These are located in the bathroom.
In 2014, there was a difference of about 10 cubic meters (cbm) compared to the municipal water meter. At that time, the explanation was that the meters were installed later and water was used by the contractors during the construction phase (which I found acceptable).
Currently, for 2015, there is a new difference of 14 cbm (so a total of 24 cbm over 2 years) compared to the main meter.
Is it possible that the Deltamess meters and the municipal water meter measure differently? The total consumption was 245 cbm in 2015. From what I know about the rental apartment, there were meters in the kitchen; the new house does not have meters in the kitchen. Could it be that this consumption is not being recorded?
Thank you and best wishes for the new year.

And the heating system is unlikely to be the issue, since it’s a closed system and only relevant during initial filling — not thousands of liters.
