Four years ago, my son received an Expedit system, and we bought black drawers and doors to go with it. Now, for his Pax wardrobe, he has chosen the Bergsbo door, which is dark brown. I would like to match the black doors to the dark brown color. Does anyone have a good idea how to make black plastic doors dark brown? I haven’t had much success with paints or acrylics so far, as they are quite difficult to apply perfectly. Also, the finish never lasted long because scratches appeared quickly or the paint peeled off.

does your son mind the different colors? If you don’t want paint, adhesive films are a good option.
