I just came across this thread and have a few questions: Are wall decals really that easy to apply? I mean, with large designs, I can't imagine it’s that simple to get them onto the wall without bubbles forming. I’m also curious whether they can be removed without damaging the wallpaper underneath.

Yes, applying wall decals really doesn’t require much skill. It’s best to use a small silicone spatula for this. However, it is not recommended for textured wallpaper. If you also have a third and fourth hand to help, nothing can really go wrong. But you can manage it on your own as well.

TechFelix16 Feb 2012 09:24I don’t really like wall decals either, but the advantage compared to real paint is that if you don’t like it anymore, you can simply paint over it with white.

schwedengirl22 Feb 2012 14:32Why paint over it? In my living room, it can be easily removed again without leaving any marks on the wall. But that might also depend on how long it’s been there and whether you smoke or not.
