ᐅ Designing a ceiling with textured plaster?

Is it possible to apply textured plaster on a drywall ceiling?

I am looking for some alternatives to wallpaper...

I was able to sort it out myself. Structo fine plaster with a 1mm layer will be applied to the walls and ceiling, and the drywall will receive a primer coat.

The cost is about the same since we have Q2 plaster finish. Refining to Q3 level by smoothing and sanding before painting would require even more effort.

Roll-on plaster also costs slightly more.

A trained bricklayer will do the installation.
