Hello everyone,
we need a water softening system for our new house and are currently deciding between the BWT Perla and the Judo i-soft plus. According to some opinions, the BWT is among the best on the market, while the Judo i-soft plus is recommended by our heating engineer. An advantage here would be that I get direct KNX access.
Can you share any insights about the brands and models? I find it difficult to assess their quality.
Thanks in advance.

I would have bought a Grünbeck unit if the installer, who handled everything in our house, had not recommended BWT. I probably won’t find out which is the best unit, but that doesn’t really matter since the BWT is flawlessly fulfilling its intended function.
She could be flushing right now when the power goes out. The toilet continues to flush since the valve is open, but without electricity, the macerator pump won’t work... This scenario could be avoided with the larger Judo, and since she flushes at least once a day, it’s not that unlikely...
