ᐅ Water softening system – but which one... AquaStop?

Dear forum members

I have been researching suitable water softening systems for some time now, but I am still a bit undecided.
I was initially looking at a BTW Perla system. Since BTW has still not responded to my email, I continued searching. It turns out there are many other manufacturers. I have now come across Water2By, which offers a 7-year warranty. According to my research, their systems should not be any worse than the BTW system. Does anyone have experience with them?
BTW offers an Aqua-Stop with a sensor. I have also seen such sensors available online. Are these recommended? Since the moisture sensors are placed in rooms, it doesn’t help if I have water damage in the bathroom three rooms away. Is there a leak detector that generally reacts if a pipe anywhere in the house leaks or bursts?

Thank you very much
Best regards, jumbo125

better something with names
There are several international manufacturers who use, for example, Fleck (Pentair) or Clack valves. Both companies are leaders in this field, and globally these names are more recognized than Grünbeck or Judo. Therefore, even non-German systems often use good quality components.

No, but it’s about service and maintenance. If local service is not available, I would avoid it.
