Hello everyone,
We are about to start the demolition of the property we purchased.
Three years ago, the previous owner replaced the windows and heating system, as there were plans to renovate the house. However, it hasn’t been occupied in recent years and has now been sold… to us. :-)
Here is what is still there:
18 windows (12 of them about 3 years old, the rest older)
10 radiators (all about 3 years old)
1 plastic door (about 3 years old)
1 fully equipped Siemens Sipro meter cabinet
All items are still installed.
Ideally, I would like to list everything somewhere with the idea that buyers remove the parts themselves. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to dismantle everything.
Do you have any tips on the best way to handle this? eBay? Classified ads? Sell everything individually or together? Or are there other options?
Best regards
Tito

This will probably not help you. Windows are always custom-made—unless someone uses your offer as a basis to plan their construction according to your window dimensions. The radiators might possibly be used if someone equips their building project following a rough estimation method. Otherwise, they are sized based on a heat load calculation—here the same applies as with the windows.

Doc.Schnaggls9 May 2016 12:15Hello,
we also sold some parts from the "old" house that had to make way for our new build in advance.
We offered the parts on the platform Quoka / bulky waste.
Specifically, these were:
- Front door
- Side entrance door
- Various windows
As a "collateral damage," we could have also sold the old storage heaters 😕 – but we decided against it because the potential buyer seemed a bit suspicious, and we would not have had any disposal certificate (asbestos issue).
We could have sold some of the windows multiple times – so I don’t really share the opinion of @wpic.
Give it a try, and be happy if you get a few euros for it.
Regards,
Dirk
