Hello, I have an old house here that is scheduled to be demolished. However, it still contains the water connection and the fuse box. I’m planning to start building only in about 5 years.
What should I do with these two connections during that time? Just leave the wall standing? But then these components wouldn’t be protected anymore, right?

Maybe you have some ideas.

Best regards, Ronny

Are the connections still active? Or have they already been shut off?

First of all, schedule an appointment with your local utility providers to disconnect the existing electrical and water connections. During this appointment, they will also advise you on how to proceed so that no hazards arise during the expected 5-year period.

Kind regards

I have had the water supply turned off at the street, the electricity is operational and should remain that way. The connections are intended to be reused in 5 years, so nothing should be disconnected.

The "all-in-one solution" does not exist for you either
