Hello everyone,
A few months ago, we had new PVC windows, new roller shutters, and new aluminum window sills installed.
A local family-run business in its fourth generation with a nice website carried out the work.
Unfortunately, many defects occurred, see photos.
The window installer is reluctantly "willing" to fix some issues, including removing and reinstalling the exterior window sills, but insists on very precise specifications from the facade renovator/painter or from us as the client regarding the "interior plaster edge" or "plaster reveal," because we want an APU strip.
Since the painter working for the window installer (who is currently blocking the renovation) is now frustrated, we as the client have to take action again.
Where can we find technical guidelines on how to install window sills on new windows and existing window reveals according to aRdT?
Thank you for your advice.
Best regards from BW

The expert report has been provided to the window manufacturer, but despite setting a deadline, they are unable to understand it, ask us how one thing or another is meant, come to the house every few weeks, do a little here, a little there, but never complete anything. Repeat the formal deadline, consult a lawyer. The deadline must be flawless!!! Repeat it like reminders.
Will a new coat of plaster be applied later?

The window manufacturer seems willing to solve the problem and wants to do it properly now – hence the request for the measurements.
This should be possible to resolve. Everyone sitting down together and that’s it.

It should be possible to resolve this. Everyone sitting down together and done. That is very naive. Do you really believe that someone who delivers such work and considers it good will sit down with you? Why? In their eyes, everything fits perfectly!
